1960’s Wrangler ad found on Pinterest
Now take this vintage Wrangler Jeans ad for example. This is said to date back to sometime in the 1960’s but I know I remember seeing Wrangler ads everywhere all the time in every western magazine & store we looked at or went into as a kid. Every rodeo there was posters featuring the sponsored cowboys at the time, for most of my Dad’s career he was a Wrangler endorsee.

Now jump to the future…hello here we are! When I was a part of the Bleacher Babes “Bleacher Babe Squad,” we worked with Wrangler. We were on social media & that’s where their customers have moved to. What a perfect match! Que bloggers & influencers!
So here’s my greatest example I can actually show you. Wrangler now wants to advertise on social media so they come to The Bleacher Babe Squad where they know many of the followers are going to already be Wrangler customers OR have a high potential of wanting to be one maybe for the first time! So when Wrangler reposts the picture it helps their business & at the time The Bleacher Babe Squad! We loved Wrangler at the Squad! Bloggers are appealing to the human nature of today…in a way you feel like you know your favorite bloggers/influencers that you follow & we feel like we know our followers! We want to show you our favorite things and you want to see them! Why be subscribed to a magazine where you may see a very expensive one page advertisement, where you also may only like half their content…when you can follow someone you really relate to & enjoy, while liking ALLLLL their content on your own social media platform!
