It’s NFR time BABY! Hey speaking of babies….this is an extra extra special blog for me! Last year at this time I gave you another “Confessions Of A Rodeo Kid” blog but this is a little different, although it goes back (as always) to my rodeo kid roots. Featured in this months version of Cowboy Times Magazine. Not only is it our Vegas issue that will be all over sin city during the Cowboy invasion but I’ve got a special collaboration collection that is going to be available in Vegas!

As a little rodeo baby myself I was known for a signature headband, bow, or both. I’ve carried that style with me for years long past childhood. I’ve always loved a headband and still frequently wear them as a 20 something year old college girl! As do many of my friends and some of my personal favorite western fashion I follow on social media’s! So when Teegan Kay Boutique a baby, toddler, & children’s handmade Etsy shop out of my home state of Arizona asked me to help design a headband collection from my new home in Texas I was SO EXCITED. My original love of fashion was always big dreams as a little girl…in headbands…designing my own lines, that’s always been the end goal for me.

I’ve created a collection with Teegan Kay boutique I am so so proud of. For all the little fashionistas of the rodeo world, designed by a past rodeo kid, I’ve taken all the elements I love now and distinct patterns I’m know for wearing today and incorporated them into a perfect collection of baby, toddler, kid and adult headbands. YEP! You didn’t think I wouldn’t wear my own headbands!??

The larges are the perfect accessory to glam up a messy bun, ponytail or some loose curls on us big girls! The best part!?? My fellow little rodeo kid Addy May Hass daughter of steer wrestler Clayton Hass will be carrying them in Vegas for me at her boutique! Little Sierra Rae who was signing autographs with Dad at Cowboy Christmas in her headband would have never imagined all these years later she’d have her own line out just a few feet away from those spots she used to sit with her Dad, and watch him and all of his success!

For the gal pals big & small this collection is for pretty much any western fashionista that wants it….from 5 months to 25 age doesn’t matter when you’re staying in style.

I pulled names from the rodeo world that mean something to me each in their own way, some relating to my memories at the NFR some & are just names and places I have seen or heard my whole life. They’ve stuck with me. Well you can check it out for yourself right here…..https://www.etsy.com/shop/TeeganKayBoutique the complete collection! I would like to send the biggest sweetest thank you to Teegan Kay Boutique for the invite to the collaboration that meant more to me than I ever knew!
