If you have been anywhere around western fashion the last….let’s say year. You know that the wild rag craze is here to stay. In the mainstream fashion world, cute little necktie’s have also been quite popular, like the look of a 1950’s car hop, or the hipster bandana (looks like they might have just back packed across Europe but they were only at the coffee shop). Now that spring has sprung though what are we to do without them around our neck?

It’s no secret I have been a headband girl since WAY back when. I mean I’m wearing one literally right now as I write this blog. Fun fact I went to Catholic school and that meant uniforms and no fun colors unless you think green white and navy passes for “fun.” This meant my hair accessories were my only way to….. you know as one might say “express yourself.” 😉 I  did get written up quite a few times though for overly loud hair accessories…I won’t lie. With that being said I  also went through the headband phase again when it hit the western world HARD, a few years ago, bigger, louder….you remember. Flowers hanging off the sides, rhinestones everywhere, straight across our foreheads like hippies passing through to Woodstock, but if Woodstock was more like a Rodeo. Animal print, beads, I had it all. So I  took a major step back and did not put a headband on for a year or two, until now. Old habits die hard.

These days I’m into a much simpler look, and here’s the wild rag tie in…..that’s what I  use!!! From actual Bandana to silky rag they all work and they all look real cute.

Now if you see a look you liked I’ve included a link to all the websites that’ll hook you right up and below that is a how-to on an easy headband tie like these! One headband tutorial is for your short square wild-rags and bandanas and one is for your traditional longer one’s like picture #6 that I  tied in with my topknot.
